Chartwheels 2 is so simple, so fast and direct to use, we call it the "instant gratification" program. Want to put up a chart? Just fill in a short input menu, and hit "C." In seconds you get a round horoscope wheel on the screen. You don't need to wait for printouts, because Chartwheels's big glyphs and aspect lines make horoscopes so beautifully readable.

With Chartwheels, you don't have to work in batches or plan ahead. You can go wherever your thoughts take you, on the spur of the moment. Add a second chart around the outside. Find midpoints on the 90-degree dial. Instantly recalculate the chart for a new Sun, Moon, Ascendant or MC position. Try another house system. Hit a key to step charts forward or back through time at regular intervals—and much more! Whenever you wish, you get a high-resolution printout (not a mere screen dump) at the touch of a key.

 With Chartwheels 2 you can:

• Calculate charts from A.D. 1723-2049, including Chiron, Transpluto, Vulcan, 4 asteroids, and 8 Uranian planets. Extend calculation range to 3,000 years with Nova or Expanded Ephemeris.
• Put up a single or double chart wheel, with a natal, transiting, progressed, solar-arc, return or astro-clock chart as the second chart.
  With planets and aspect lines in color to make them easy to read.
• Exchange inner and outer wheels.
• Run the wheel as an astro-clock, showing where planets are right now as seen from your locality.
• View charts with or without aspect lines, and also get optional aspect lists—within 1 chart or between 2 charts.
• Select aspects, orbs and planets to be shown.
• Do secondary-progressed charts with a Naibod, solar-arc or quotidian MC.
• Do tertiary- or minor-progressed, and even solar-arc-directed charts.
• Do a whole series of solar or lunar returns.
• Rectify natal charts and find electional charts: by instantly recalculating a chart for any given Sun, Moon, Ascendant or MC position. Or just touch a key to do charts at regular hourly, daily, weekly, yearly or any other time intervals.
• View charts on a single or double 90-degree dial; move the pointer to find the midpoints in one or both charts.
• Offset the pointer by the whole, half or double solar arc.
• Do tropical, sidereal, helio or right ascensional charts in any harmonic.

IBM compatibles with at least 512K RAM; can use EMS memory. Hercules card (for monochrome) or VGA or EGA card (for color). With a CGA card it outputs in mono-chrome only and does not show extra planets. Prints out on IBM- or Epson-compatible dot-matrix printers, or HP LaserJet II, III and compatibles. Hard disk and math co-processor chip highly recommended.

Putting the ephemeris into graph form lets you intuit the whole pattern of planetary motion over time. But often you also need the precise numbers found in conventional ephemerides. With Timegraphs, you have the best of both worlds. On either your screen or your printer, this program gives you accurate, readable planetary graphs. On-screen you can also get both the tables of planetary positions and aspectarians.

Better than a conventional ephemeris. Timegraphs tables aren't limited to noon or midnight positions. You can get precise positions and aspects for any minute of any day as well as listings for the natal chart. Without doing any math, you can find the precise degree and minute at which any transiting aspect becomes exact. Or the precise time of day when a transiting-to-natal aspect is at zero orb. Just hit the arrow keys to advance the ephemeris tables day-by-day, hour-by-hour, or minute-by-minute!

 Graphs for all uses. Timegraphs lets you draw graphs for the time period you want (from weeks to months to years), in any modulus you want (45° or other), with whatever planets interest you.

 And it's not just for transit graphs. You can also can survey a whole lifetime at once in secondary, tertiary or minor-progressed graphs. Or solar-arc-directed graphs (also called Ebertin Life Diagrams). Plus, you can use a tropical, sidereal or precession-corrected, geo or helio, longitude or right-ascension point of view.

 With Timegraphs you can:

New Features in Version 2

Transiting midpoints: Powerful but hard to calculate, they're accessible in Timegraphs simply by picking them from a menu. Declination and latitude graphs: Arranged so you can see contra-parallels as easily as parallels.

Color printouts: The colors that make the graphs so easy to read on the screen can now be printed out on color printers. Desktop publishing: Export graphs in DTP a variety of formats to your word-processing, desktop publishing and art programs.

Printwheels DTP is a version specially created for authors and editors. It has all that's in the regular Printwheels, plus 90 more printout styles and links to programs like PageMaker®, Ventura®, WordPerfect® and CorelDraw®.

 No more stats and pasteups: just export charts into these programs, resize and edit them, and merge them with text. Unlike photo-reductions, there's no loss of clarity, even at a 2-inch size!

 Printwheels DTP outputs in a variety of graphics formats, so you can use the one best suited to your publishing needs. Not just bitmapped formats like TIFF (compressed and uncompressed), PCX, BMP, and IMG (GEM), but also more easily scalable vector formats like CGM, HPGL, WPG (WordPerfect) and EPS (PostScript). With PostScript, for example, you can print in any size and even send files to professional imagesetting equipment that can do 1600 or more dots per inch.

 Now you can produce articles, books and magazines and astrological artwork with unmatched elegance and speed. Same requirements as Printwheels.

Turn the Astrologer's Companion on each time you start your computer. Then, no matter what you're doing (astrology, word processing, business stuff), the horoscope for "right now" is only a keystroke away. Hard disk, at least 640K RAM, DOS 5 or higher, and a Hercules, EGA or VGA monitor. Printouts have true box borders on printers that have IBM graphics characters. On other printers, including laser printers, the borders are made of letters and numbers. Pop-up is usable with Nova, the Data Collections, the CCRS Horoscope Program and other DOS programs that do not have graphic screens; it's also usable with Windows programs.
