Valliere's Calendars

Use the strongest, most reliable Sun-Moon cycles to put balance into your life

For 30 years Jim Valliere painstakingly observed the daily ebb and flow of all the planets and their effect on human life. Over this time he found that by far the strongest effects -- the ones that outdo all the others -- are those that come from the yearly interweaving of Sun and Moon cycles. To make this information easily usable in everyday life, he has put it into handy calendar form.

For 2012 you can choose from three Valliere's calendars:

The Tranquility Calendar

Tranquility  Tranquility Jan

The information in the 2012 Tranquility calendar is similar to what was in Valliere’s 2011 Best Days, Best Hours calendar. However, in 2012 the emphasis is on creating a serene and stress-free life.

To create the most serene mood possible, the 2012 Valliere’s Tranquility Calendar has been re-designed with an all-new layout and sublime nature photographs by Brooks Mathewson. There is also a new introduction, describing the research behind the calendar and the most effective ways to make use of its information.

The 2012 Valliere’s Tranquility Calendar is recommended for use throughout the continental U.S., southern Canada, and northern Mexico between the latitudes of 25 and 50 degrees north. It does not require precise timing, but should you live at the far edge of the recommended geographical area it includes directions for making appropriate time corrections when needed.

The photographs are awesome!!! And so informative on the information regarding rest, relaxation, and the position of the moon.”

The 2012 Valliere’s Tranquility Calendar is available for $9.95. It will be e-mailed to you as a PDF file which you can view, print and also give freely to your friends.  Buy Now

The Birdwatcher's Calendar

Birdwatcher's  Birdwatcher's Jan

New this year, Valliere’s Birdwatcher’s Calendar 2012 combines superb bird photographs by Brooks Mathewson with a listing of the best times of day to see birds in the wild. Valliere’s observations have shown that the hours when birds are most likely to be out and feeding and readily visible are essentially the same as the “Tranquility” hours. In addition, the best days for viewing birds depend on the declination of the Moon. With the Birdwatcher’s Calendar you will be able to plan your birding expeditions for maximum success.

Like the Tranquility calendar, the Birdwatcher’s Calendar is recommended for use throughout the continental U.S., southern Canada, and northern Mexico between the latitudes of 25 and 50 degrees north. For those living at the far reaches of the recommended area, it includes directions for making appropriate time corrections when needed.

I never knew that there were better times than others to see birds. The calendar is lovely, and the information too!”

The Birdwatcher's Calendar, Audubon Edition

Audubon  Audubon Jan

Valliere’s Birdwatcher’s Calendar, Audubon Edition contains exactly the same information as the regular edition of the Birdwatcher’s Calendar, except that it illustrated with color engravings from John James Audubon’s historic work Birds of America. These have been newly photographed by Brooks Mathewson from the 19th century originals in the Boston Public Library.
